While on a routine journey, they came across a cow in distress, allegedly being transported by a group of individuals. Acting swiftly and decisively, the team confronted the situation, suspecting the cow was destined for harm. With unwavering determination, they rescued the cow and immediately informed the *Delang Police Station.
In a courageous move, the members handed over the individuals responsible to the police while ensuring the cow’s safety. However, the mission was far from over. The next four days were marked by relentless efforts, negotiations, and advocacy. The team worked tirelessly with the police and local authorities, facing resistance from all sides to ensure justice for the voiceless creature.
Their persistence bore fruit when the cow was finally sent to a Goshala (a cow shelter) under police supervision. Sambhabana Seva Parisad also filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the individuals involved and the alleged illegal slaughterhouse, reaffirming their commitment to upholding animal welfare laws.
