Himanshu Mahapatra
Himanshu Mahapatra hails from a deeply rooted Sanatan family and completed his Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication (MA JMC) in 2019. His journey into social activism began when he witnessed the disturbing issue of cow trafficking in Puri District, which profoundly impacted him. Confronted with this injustice, Himanshu decided to take a stand against the exploitation of animals and protect them from cruel slaughterhouses.
His passion for animal welfare, combined with a deep commitment to humanity’s well-being, led him to establish a social organization dedicated to both animal and women empowerment. Himanshu envisions a world where animals are treated with dignity and respect, and women are empowered to live independently and with confidence.
Through his organization, he strives to create a lasting impact by raising awareness, organizing rescue missions, and advocating for better treatment of both animals and women in society. His relentless drive to address social issues like animal cruelty and gender inequality highlights his belief in a more compassionate and equitable society.
Himanshu’s work continues to inspire many, as he champions the cause of kindness, justice, and empowerment for the most vulnerable members of our community, aiming to make a significant difference in the world.
Subhalaxmi Senapati
Subhalaxmi Senapati, from a Sanatan family, completed her Master’s in Sociology from Ravenshaw University in 2019. During her academic journey, she became deeply aware of the pressing issues of cow trafficking and the widespread neglect of women’s rights in Puri District. These issues moved her to take action. Witnessing the cruel treatment of cows and the lack of attention towards the empowerment of women, Subhalaxmi felt a strong moral duty to address these injustices.
Determined to make a difference, she decided to focus on protecting cows from slaughterhouses and advocated for their well-being. At the same time, she recognized the importance of uplifting women in her community, empowering them to break free from societal oppression. This inspired her to establish a social organization dedicated to the protection of animals and the empowerment of women.
Subhalaxmi’s organization focuses on creating a society that values compassion, respect, and equality for both animals and women. By promoting awareness, offering support, and driving change, she envisions a future where both animals and women live with dignity and freedom. Her dedication continues to inspire others to work toward a more just and humane society.
